The excursion starts at your hotel and passes through the city centre. You will see the Estonian Opera and Ballet Theatre, business area of the city, the 19 and the beginning of 20 centuries’ wooden architecture of Tallinn, then you will stop off at park Kadriorg. Kadriorg is a favourite place of townspeople for walks, there you will see the Kadriorg palace constructed on command of Peter the Great, the residence of Estonian president, Peter I house-museum and Art Museum KUMU. Then the route lies to the Song Festival Grounds where you will stop off and continue your way along the sea to the Pirita area. You will pass the Maarjamäe Palace, a monument to an aeronaut Charles Leroux and a memorial complex. In the Pirita area you will stop at the St. Birgitta’s convent and then will go back to the city centre. On a way back from Pirita you will see the Olympic Yachting Complex constructed to a sailing regatta of the Olympic Games of 1980 and the well-known monument to the lost battleship "Mermaid". Coming back to the city, you will pass by the Rotterman Quarter with little shops of fashionable and stylish clothes, then the "Stout Margaret" Cannon Tower. Further the way will lie round the the fortification of the Old Town, where Toompea Castle’s wall from the 13 century is well visible. The excursion will finish on the hill of Toompea in the Upper Town.
